Just an info about this Bahasa Melayu id-ID is actually not Bahasa melayu. It's Bahasa Indonesia. My suggestion is should be recognized as Bahasa Indonesia id-ID and Bahasa melayu as Bahasa Melayu id-BM if anyone out there wants to make translation for it. Actually it bothers me (and many other people) when an application/software or anything carry the term "Bahasa Melayu" is actually Bahasa Indonesia.

Actually, only id-ID is supported by .NET Framework 2.0. Thus, even a "melayu" translation needs to get the id-ID language code.
