No, sorry. You can never burn CD's for a CD burner. You will need to go out a buy a DVD burner. The price of DVD bruners have gone down considerbly, you can now get one for under $100.

Try for less than $40. I purchased a Lite-On DVD burner for just over $60 in 12/2004. My dad purchased the same burner for ~$35 from the same place online last month.

CR-RW drives are even cheaper and CD-ROM drives are a dime a dozen now, if you can even find them Smile

Can you do mixed mode with CDBurnerXP Pro? For example, both data and audio on one disc? I used to have a program that could do it, but I couldn't find any info about this in CDBurnerXP.

I have been looking through the site for a while and cannot find any mention of "Minimum System Requirements". I suggest that such information be provided in close proximity to the Download page, so we may see what system is needed for CdBurnerXP to function effectively.

Thank you.

It doesn't have any high system requirements. Apart from that we don't have such old PCs to check the minimum requirements.

Hello Guest

I had the same question and did some searching here, and with google, and found a review at http://www.snapfiles.com/get/cdburnerxp.html that lists the program as able to run in 98/ME/2000/XP.

I am going to download this myself and give it a try on a Win2K machine.

Flo, I hope it was ok to post a reply to this question and provide the link which gives you an excellent 5 star rating.

If not, slap me on the wrist and I will not do it again.

Thanks in advance

Ron
