  1. Known issue. Can you try if this updated version helps? https://daily.cdburnerxp.se/4.5/minimal/cdbxp_setup_4.5.7.6729_minimal.exe So far it has been reported that it doesn't help, but it would be good to have further test results.
  2. It may be that the file system used in these cases is incompatible with CDBurnerXP. Though it should at least work if you burned the disc with CDBurnerXP. If you used a different burning application, there might be issues.
  3. You can try an updated StarBurn burning libray: https://daily.cdburnerxp.se/4.5/minimal/cdbxp_setup_4.5.7.6729_minimal.exe If that doesn't help, please try to post the Windows event log entry for the crash you experience.
  4. I don't think CDBurnerXP has changed in this regard. Maybe it's a problem with your device? Still, you can try one of the daily builds which contain an updated StarBurn library (https://daily.cdburnerxp.se/4.5/minimal/cdbxp_setup_4.5.7.6729_minimal.exe).
  5. 1000 MB is a bit unsual indeed. An ISO file is not a perfect copy though.
  6. You need to use pauses between tracks and disable "CD-Text". There is no option for just disabling disc-at-once.
  7. It depends on what file system you have currently active (see Disc -> File system in the menu).
  8. This is incorrect because CDBurnerXP will adjust the volumne before burning. The ReplayGain info is not transferred to the disc and the normalization will work independently of the playback device.
  9. When not being able to read data, it should abort. But you have a few settings for controlling the read behaviour.
  10. That's a shame Will keep bugging StarBurn...
  11. I'm not talking about ads. See https://superuser.com/questions/286000/how-to-list-explorer-extensions-and-disable-them And https://www.google.de/search?safe=off&q=shell+extension+crash for some examples. You might be able to find some additional details about what causes the application to hang in the Windows event log. Either way, using the 32 bit version should not have any disadvantage so you can also just stick with it.
  12. Which application did you use for creating the discs and what kind of discs did you create?
  13. Maybe a shell extension is responsible for this behaviour, you should check which ones you have installed and if any of these might be a problem.
  14. New version is available: https://daily.cdburnerxp.se/4.5/minimal/cdbxp_setup_4.5.7.6720_minimal.exe Can anyone please check if the issue is resolved?
  15. Go to the data / audio compilation are and check the menu there.
  16. StarBurn is still working on it, intending to release a working version tomorrow. They usually don't stick to their schedules, but a solution is getting closer.
  17. The command should list all drives. Not sure what "attached" drives are, if you mean USB devices, these should work just as well.
  18. AV applications nowadays do whatever they please so it's reasonable to only use throw away-domains for distributing executable files. In my particular case the URL is fixed though. I am not using their "distribution network" so I control which domains are used and they don't change every day. In fact I only changed them once so far.
  19. There was only one dead link which I fixed, but that wasn't related to your question.
  20. It's just a random domain name that hosts an ad which is shown before downloading. It's not always displayed though and might just work like a direct download link. I didn't decide the domain names being used, the advertisement server is not under my control. It may beem a bit strange but is completely harmless.
  21. Actual attackers, sure. But there aren't any so I'm not quite sure what your concern is currently.
