  1. I can't get the iso to burn right. It burns but it will not boot up. I think the best way to do it is to do the slipstreaming and then burn the files with the Nero setup, but using CDBurnerXP Pro. When I do it this way, I have a perfect XP cd with Service Pack 2 that is bootable. You just have to make sure you get the settings in CDBXP just like you would in Nero, that's all. bowhuntr
  2. I made three coasters trying to use the other tutorial, burning the iso. I think the problem was that I didn't change the boot sectors to 4. I am going to try again with the iso later today and will report back if it works or not.
  3. http://www.helpwithwindows.com/WindowsX ... ootcd.html Here is a very good tutorial on this subject. Be sure to play close attention on how to set Nero up and do the same thing with CDBurnerXP Pro. I just burnt a cd using these settings with CDBurnerXP Pro and it boots just fine.
  4. How close are we to this next release?
  5. Not on my computer they don't. This is the same issue I was having in the thread "Data exceeds the size of media".
  6. I have Windows Media Player 10 installed on my computer and I also installed the WMP 9 runtimes that I downloaded from the download site for CDBurnerXP Pro. It still doesn't work.
  7. Yes, I tried 2 or 3 different brands of disks. Also, when I try to burn some wma files, it will tell me the same thing. I clicked continue anyway and it will act like it is going to burn, but then it can't decode the wma files. I thought that feature had been added to the program.
  8. Ok, something else. If I select a data cd instead of audio cd, it will tell me how much space is left on the disk, like it is supposed to do. It is only when I select audio cd that it doesn't see the disk right. Maybe this will help.
  9. Well, an uninstall and reinstall fixed the unknown error problem, so far. But, I still can't burn mp3's. I add one song to the cd, it tells me that I have added more than the disk can hold. I very much want to use this program, but I can't as long as it does this.
  10. I am trying to burn some MP3 files. Everytime I drag a file to the layout, it tells me that the Data exceeds the size of the media, even though it is an empty disk. I also get a little window that pops up when I select Audio CD from the first screen that says Unknown Error. If I hit the OK button in this little window, CDBurnerXP Pro closes out. Have you guys seen anything like this before? bowhuntr
  11. Ok, I see. I thought it would burn them since I could rip them, if I wanted to with this program....Thanks
  12. I was going to burn some wma audio files that I have to a disk. Everytime I try to drag one of them to the queue, I get an "Unknown Error" box. I click okay and CDBurnerXP Pro shuts down. Have you seen this before?
