  1. Thanks for pointing out the error! I've made the correction already in addition to translating the new strings. You can download the file from the first post of this thread. If you find out anything else, just point them out. I would also welcome any suggestions regarding expressions etc. I hope you enjoy CDBurnerXP in Greek...
  4. Cool! Will use it from now on. And of course I will provide any feedback I have. Thanks a lot!
  5. Thanks for your comments! Indeed I don't consider that I am the most protected user [but I am not using only these programs]. I really hope that there isn't an infection on the download server. But I can say that I am using the latest version [being a "beta tester" I update frequently] and my computer is clean, as the means of detection I have available state. Case any of you have noticed any kind of virus/malware etc please do post here... When timnz said he found a virus on the installer, I performed sequential scans on the installer archive [just in case ]. Anyhow really thanks MartinK. If you have security tips you could provide as with a guide. People tend to specialize even in their computer skills/knowledge, so if you have some insight it is most welcome.
  6. You are obviously using an "encoded" movie [like avi mkv etc]. If that is the case, it might be that the other DVD player doesn't recognize the file format. Otherwise it is most possible that you should have finalized the DVD, in order for the player to access its contents.
  7. Hmmm... There must be something wrong here. I've been testing all beta and public versions a long time now and I am always scanning for viruses my downloads. [using Avira AntiVir Premium and Spyware Terminator] Although you are right to post this here, you should consider the possibility that your installer could have been infected by a virus already in your system. Check the logs of your antivirus to see other instances of the virus found. You could also check whether the virus came from the CDBurnerXP installer, simply by downloading it again.
  8. Hmmm, The feature you want, doesn't exist, in CDBurnerXP, cause its actually not related to a burning program. You would need to re-encode the movie with another program obviously. There are lots of freeware ones. But since each encoding is a lossy algorithm function, you can't expect any real jump in quality. Filters could be used to smoothen the final product of the transcending but more data is lost. Consider updating the codecs used in the playback if you have really noticed an upgrade in quality.
  10. Hi! You are probably using DRM protected files, (like those bought from iTunes), which are not supported by the program. Check Create Audio Disc and if you have any more questions, let us know.
  11. Hmmm. If you have the lightscribe drivers in it should work. I don't have such a drive so I can't say how it is supposed to appear.
  12. No problem! Indeed KMP stands out as a media player.
  13. Ok... Q1: First of all check this KMPlayer By enabling Playback info, you can see on your screen what codecs bitrates et all are used. See the attached image on Audio obviously the Input part. There are simpler ways I suppose, but I've become accustomed to KMP (freeware by the way, plays really anything) so I don't bother. Q2: Errr... Yes! Once you have established that your file is what you want, you create a perfect copy by burning it.
  14. What the avi contains has nothing to do with the way you burn the disc. What do you want to do? Produce a disc that contains the avi? Then simply yes. Data compilation etc. Produce smth else? Problem...
