  1. I test with "UDF" only, but it doesn't work. I don't think that the issue is the file system Here : http://download.videohelp.com/r0lZ/pgcedit/third_party/blutach/Burning%20With%20PgcEdit.htm you can find how other burning programs manage the burning of video DVD. I think ImgBurn uses this method: an option "IFO/BUP 32K Padding" is suggested, and ii works fine with my standalone DVD player. Thanks.
  2. Here is what I find about 32k padding into DVD video: The issue is that cd burner xp burns DVD video like data, whereas it should be burnt specifically. Home DVD player which are too rigorous can't play these DVD video. I burnt the same DVD video with cd burner xp pro and ImgBurn: the ImgBurn DVD is playable, the cd burner xp one not.
  3. I have exctly the same issue : I use the last version of cdBurnerXP (4.2.3.1110) to burn a DVD video, but I can't play it with my home DVD player (Samsung HD745). I have no problem with Nero 5, and I use the same DVD-R or DVD-RW. Like eric_ns16, I tried ifoedit but the files seem correct. Certainly something is wrong with the structure of the DVD video. This is a link which gives some explications (in french, sorry...): http://forum.gravure-news.com/causes-d-incompatibilite-des-dvd-video-graves-avec-les-platines-de-salon-vt26805.htm It seems that a 32k gap has to be inserted into the DVD (http://img65.imageshack.us/my.php?image=renx0.jpg) I will try PgcEdit and I told you if it works fine...
