  1. Audiograbber is a free app to rip mp3 from cds. Under ID3v2 settings, you can select track number/total tracks. It can be found here: http://www.audiograbber.org/download.html
  2. Most MP3 encoders allow the track portion of the ID3 tag to be stored in the track #/total number of tracks format. Also, much of the purchased music from Amazon and other sources come that way. From http://www.id3.org/id3v2.3.0: TRCK - The 'Track number/Position in set' frame is a numeric string containing the order number of the audio-file on its original recording. This may be extended with a "/" character and a numeric string containing the total numer of tracks/elements on the original recording. E.g. "4/9".
  3. If the ID3 tag for an audio file is in the format xx/yy where xx is the track and yy is to total number of tracks, CDBurnerXP gives a value of "0" in the track # field. This, of course, makes it impossible to sort tracks by #, very important when recording an album.
  4. I have not seen that to necessarily be the case. If I insert a blank DVD, select burn data dvd from action selection, then pick video dvd layout, select the second writer (e:\, defaulted to d:\), burn and exit, then when process is repeated d:\ still comes up as default.
  5. As of 4.2.4.1300 this still appears to be an issue. Insert blank DVD, select create data disc and "freezes" begin. It may be worth noting that this used to only occur if I selected my second writer, iHAS422, SATA Liteon. I change out my first writer which was a LG writer with an IDE iHAP422, and now the freeze happens on the first drive as well (default).
