  1. D: is a partition on the same hard disk as C:.
  2. I'm not getting the error today. So, the error has mysteriously vanished. I was doing "mklink /d MyArchive D:\MyArchive".
  3. I think I found the problem. Try making a directory symbolic link to a directory on a different drive. This seems to reliably produce the error. If you still can't reproduce it, you could send me a debug version to run. Unchecking "apply this filter to the integrated file browser" does solve the problem. I don't get the error with this unchecked.
  4. It did it again. See below. I deleted two symbolic directory links and recreated them and now CDBurnerXP doesn't give the error. System.NullReferenceException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object. at LogicNP.FileViewControl.x536ecdb7386d29a6.x2db8e1a2d8ef1ead(xb2fdad904b77f843 xcbf23e6fdf2aa08b, IntPtr xe2562f0dc0544189, DisplayNameFlags x9432081594ec509d, IntPtr x5e5a9895844ba8d2, x09b9e24e089559b0 x49a64970a3136cae) at LogicNP.FileViewControl.x536ecdb7386d29a6.x1dafd189c5465293(xb2fdad904b77f843 xcbf23e6fdf2aa08b, IntPtr xe2562f0dc0544189, DisplayNameFlags x9432081594ec509d, IntPtr x5e5a9895844ba8d2, x09b9e24e089559b0 x49a64970a3136cae) at LogicNP.FileViewControl.x536ecdb7386d29a6.x4e2d9d6d7d7d99b0(xb2fdad904b77f843 xcbf23e6fdf2aa08b, IntPtr xe2562f0dc0544189) at LogicNP.FileViewControl.ListItem.x77be53ce49261911() at LogicNP.FileViewControl.ListItem.get_Path() at CDBurnerXP.Controls.FileView.OnApplyFilter(Object sender, FileViewEventArgs e) at LogicNP.FileViewControl.FileView.x63783b721e2e30d9(Int32 xccb63ca5f63dc470) at LogicNP.FileViewControl.FileView.x5921718e79c67372(IntPtr xe2562f0dc0544189, Boolean xaf0941f6abeb7c77) at LogicNP.FileViewControl.FileView.x6d54aa19d20a6718(IntPtr x60b03290ec39ff34, Boolean x6aa0fd35fe33c0ce) at LogicNP.FileViewControl.FileView.x7cb4bb83abfb9710(String xaead53c3b2567ee7) at LogicNP.FileViewControl.FileView.set_CurrentFolder(String value) at CDBurnerXP.Controls.FileView.set_CurrentFolder(String value) at CDBurnerXP_Pro.frmDataCompilation.OnLoad(EventArgs e) at System.Windows.Forms.Form.OnCreateControl() at System.Windows.Forms.Control.CreateControl(Boolean fIgnoreVisible) at System.Windows.Forms.Control.CreateControl() at System.Windows.Forms.Control.WmShowWindow(Message& m) at System.Windows.Forms.Control.WndProc(Message& m) at System.Windows.Forms.ScrollableControl.WndProc(Message& m) at System.Windows.Forms.ContainerControl.WndProc(Message& m) at System.Windows.Forms.Form.WmShowWindow(Message& m) at System.Windows.Forms.Form.WndProc(Message& m) at CDBurnerXP.Forms.BaseForm.WndProc(Message& m) at System.Windows.Forms.Control.ControlNativeWindow.OnMessage(Message& m) at System.Windows.Forms.Control.ControlNativeWindow.WndProc(Message& m) at System.Windows.Forms.NativeWindow.Callback(IntPtr hWnd, Int32 msg, IntPtr wparam, IntPtr lparam) Microsoft Windows NT 6.0.6002 Service Pack 2 (64bit)
  5. I think I did use the error reporting feature. Next time I get the error, I'll post the stack trace. At the moment, I'm not getting the error, even though there are symbolic links in the directory.
  6. I'm running 4.4.0.2838. That seems to be the latest.
  7. It just did it again. Rebooting didn't help. The problem may be directory symbolic links. I had two such links in the directory. I deleted the two symbolic links. Started CDBurnerXP. Then created the symbolic links. The links appeared in the window. And, everything worked. Then I closed CDBurnerXP and restarted it. It started without error, even though the directory it displays when it starts has the symbolic links in it. So, I can't reproduce it reliably. But, it has been happening fairly often.
  8. It started doing it again: System.NullReferenceException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object. at LogicNP.FileViewControl.x536ecdb7386d29a6.x2db8e1a2d8ef1ead(xb2fdad904b77f843 xcbf23e6fdf2aa08b, IntPtr xe2562f0dc0544189, DisplayNameFlags x9432081594ec509d, IntPtr x5e5a9895844ba8d2, x09b9e24e089559b0 x49a64970a3136cae) at LogicNP.FileViewControl.x536ecdb7386d29a6.x1dafd189c5465293(xb2fdad904b77f843 xcbf23e6fdf2aa08b, IntPtr xe2562f0dc0544189, DisplayNameFlags x9432081594ec509d, IntPtr x5e5a9895844ba8d2, x09b9e24e089559b0 x49a64970a3136cae) at LogicNP.FileViewControl.x536ecdb7386d29a6.x4e2d9d6d7d7d99b0(xb2fdad904b77f843 xcbf23e6fdf2aa08b, IntPtr xe2562f0dc0544189) at LogicNP.FileViewControl.ListItem.x77be53ce49261911() at LogicNP.FileViewControl.ListItem.get_Path() at CDBurnerXP.Controls.FileView.OnApplyFilter(Object sender, FileViewEventArgs e) at LogicNP.FileViewControl.FileView.x63783b721e2e30d9(Int32 xccb63ca5f63dc470) at LogicNP.FileViewControl.FileView.x5921718e79c67372(IntPtr xe2562f0dc0544189, Boolean xaf0941f6abeb7c77) at LogicNP.FileViewControl.FileView.x6d54aa19d20a6718(IntPtr x60b03290ec39ff34, Boolean x6aa0fd35fe33c0ce) at LogicNP.FileViewControl.FileView.x7cb4bb83abfb9710(String xaead53c3b2567ee7) at LogicNP.FileViewControl.FileView.set_CurrentFolder(String value) at CDBurnerXP.Controls.FileView.set_CurrentFolder(String value) at CDBurnerXP_Pro.frmDataCompilation.OnLoad(EventArgs e) at System.Windows.Forms.Form.OnCreateControl() at System.Windows.Forms.Control.CreateControl(Boolean fIgnoreVisible) at System.Windows.Forms.Control.CreateControl() at System.Windows.Forms.Control.WmShowWindow(Message& m) at System.Windows.Forms.Control.WndProc(Message& m) at System.Windows.Forms.ScrollableControl.WndProc(Message& m) at System.Windows.Forms.ContainerControl.WndProc(Message& m) at System.Windows.Forms.Form.WmShowWindow(Message& m) at System.Windows.Forms.Form.WndProc(Message& m) at CDBurnerXP.Forms.BaseForm.WndProc(Message& m) at System.Windows.Forms.Control.ControlNativeWindow.OnMessage(Message& m) at System.Windows.Forms.Control.ControlNativeWindow.WndProc(Message& m) at System.Windows.Forms.NativeWindow.Callback(IntPtr hWnd, Int32 msg, IntPtr wparam, IntPtr lparam) Microsoft Windows NT 6.0.6002 Service Pack 2 (64bit)
  9. The problem has disappeared. CDBurnerXP now works fine. Very strange.
  10. I start CDBurnerXP, select "Data disc", click "OK", and get the error below. If I click "Ignore", then the place where the files are usually listed (in the upper half on the right) is blank.
