I've got an Acer Aspire 5552-3706 laptop with a MATSHITA DVD-RAM UJ890AS disc drive. I checked the compatible drives list, and this one is on it, but cdburnerxp will not see the drive when i want to burn a data disc.
on top of that, it sees the drive fine and will burn an AUDIO CD, but when i select DATA DISC, it doesn't see any compatible drives.
is there anything i can do that will make cdburnerxp work properly with my laptop?
i think the problem i have had for a while just got solved by me...
i updated the drivers for my hard drive (i think it was my hard drive), and when i open cdburnerxp, it accepted the cd drive just fine.
for anybody running into this problem, try doing that.
I've got the following drive:
hl-dt-st dvdram gt31n
I'm running windows 7 home premium 64-bit.
the drive is picked up by cdburnerxp when I'm burning an audio disc or burn an iso file to a disc, but it shows "No compatible Drives" when trying to burn a data disc
I've been looking around google as well as cdburnerxp's FAQ, and can't find anything that fixes this.
please, any help would be appreciated.
