To kill the time a bit until the next final release (yes, development is still going on, a new public alpha might follow soon) please take part at a little survey which is interesting for us and the next final version of CDBurnerXP :)

I think you should put, in addiction to your excellent audio ripper, a video burning feature using open-source encoding/decoding...I also think your best feature is the audio ripper... I encoded lots of cd´s with that spectacular feature!

Unfortunately it is not so easy.

I have no idea what it is I'm doing. Your directions for burning cds is so confusing that I get error messages every time. And looking for the answers is even more confusing. No matter where I look I can't seem to find the answers to my questions. All I want to know are the steps to burning audio cds. And your directions don't tell me what it is I want to know or need to know in order to burn cds.

I love this software. I use the audio ripper, the data burning with and without multisession. I would like the final version to burn audio cds. Oh and a copy cd feature would be great too.

You're a n00b if you can't figure out how to do that. CDBurnerXP Pro is simple, powerful, and easy to use.

I'd like CD Text support. CD text is handy when listening to new music comps on my standalone player. If it had that, I'd have no more use for any of the "big corporate" burners.

Thanks to all of you who have worked on this program :D

I couldn't find any other way to register my vote for my main usage of CDBurner which is data burning (multi session).

Saw the poll post, couldn't figure out how to pop open the poll, but since now use your app exclusively since over a year ago, great work, here would be my use of polled inquiry. Since a post and not having to choose one, etc-

-Data Burning-

-Multi/Non-Multi- %100 of the time, use both, have to have multi use here.

-Audio- (been sometime I've burnt an audio cd or ripped one as most my stuff was done long ago and I don't add new audio too much.)

-Burning: via prior use of Nero, expected this ability, once seen- glad it was there

-Ripping: Haven't tried it, will today. If as easy to use as (many available) AudioCrusher I was using before, I'll use yours instead.

-Tag Editor: I purposely delete all my ID3 tags, don't like them or use them. Will clean them back out if another app (like old winamp) stick's 'em in. Never used this feature, wont- unless you have a remove feature, I'll check this out now too.

-ISO Burning-

-Use, want, need to have ability as much as multi/non-multi burning. Used when time comes around to, etc.

Thanks for the work/app,

sc

(this post doesn't display as written w/returns- display word-wrap, etc.)

(':firefox:')

(never saw this ie/firefox b4, lol, great stuff.)

i THink That A Good Feture That You Can Add ,Is ,

TO NOT Allow Burn a Disc If It's Data OverFlow The Capacity.

In The Last Version ,On The Bottom Bar ,There Is a RED Sentence which Aware The User.

Unfotunaly ,Yesterday I Was Very Tired ,And Was Very Late ,And Because Of That

I Lose 1 Disk...

Not A big Problem ,But It Will Be A good Idea To Implement It!.

I Got These Software ,Accidentaly ,And Very Happy With It.

Keep Doing Your Good Work!

Good App!!

Beats Nero and Power DVD for reliability in disk burning (no longer is every second disk unreadable).

BUT....

You need to update the Helpfile for non-tech users.

The users i give your apps to complain to me that your help files can be confusing when they dont understand what you are telling them to try.

While I have never needed to use your Helpfiles, the same cannot be said for the everyday user.

I do not want to spend hours on the phone instructing people on how to burn a disk (I have my own work that needs to be completed).

Everyday Users should not be treated as Techies.

Hard to remember when you are one (Techie).

Any chance of dealing with dual-layer DVDs so that they can be read in a "normal" DVD player? Currently, we can burn a dual layer and it can be used as a data DVD in a PC, but not read on a standalone DVD.

the reason switching to CDBXPP is not the load of features ... I would use nero then ...

its because of the simplicity all I want to do is to burn data CD/DVD and I don't need any more stuff

the only thing thats really missing is UDF support

For me it's ISO burning since I create my images via command line tools.

So my most wanted features are: burning images of 4.37 GB and of course UDF for burning Video-DVDs.

Please! Keep it short and simple.

7 years ago I loved Adaptec/Roxio -then they added all sorts of "features"

3 years ago I switched to Nero -have you seen the *&^% they've put into Nero 7?

Now I've found CD BurnerXP - it does just about everything I want/need

Please resist the temtation to add extra "garbage" to your excellent software

Is there a ( or plans for ) spanning a session across multiple CD/DVDs? Yes, the amount of stuff being stored is now bigger than even a DVD
