Backup with command line

Recommended Posts

I would like to backup my personal data on DVD-RW with a MSDOS batch.

My script:

set date_cour=%date:~6,4%%date:~3,2%%date:~0,2%
set heure_cour=%time:~0,2%%time:~3,2%%time:~6,2%
cd "C:\Program Files (x86)\CDBurnerXP"
cdbxpcmd.exe --burn-data -tao -folder[\%date_cour%_%heure_cour%\perso]:D:\docs\perso

My disc writer supports only track at once. I have one drive.

This script works but each time I launch it, my DVD is erased and contains only my recent folder and not the other backup folders.

Do you have an idea of the problem?

Thank a lot.
