Burning .jpg, .mp4, .3gp, .pptx, .docx files on DVD

Recommended Posts

I want to back up some of my files (.jpg, .mp4, .3gp, .pptx, .docx) on a DVD so that I can't lose them if my computer crashes. I want to burn them on a DVD in several folders and want to see them on computer later. I tried burning it using CDBurnerXP several times by creating Data Disc, it copied files and said it has completed, but then when I tried seeing the documents on the DVD (by computer) nothing was there, the DVD was empty. Why has that happened and can I even burn all those files on DVD?

Thanks for your help,

Burning these files should not be an issue. Sometimes Windows caches disc contents, so in some extreme cases you need to restart your computer to see the disc contents.
