Harald Reichert Report Share Posted January 15, 2018 If there are CD-ROM-Drives and CD-Burners in a system, --list-drives reports all drives and i can't find a possibility to determine which one is a Burner and which one is not - ok, I could check the drive-names that are given, but is that always as clear as in my System: > cdbxpcmd --list-drives 0: TSSTcorp DVD-ROM SH-D163B (I:\) 1: HL-DT-ST BD-RE BH10LS30 (J:\) 2: DVDFab Virtual Drive (Z:\) Any Ideas how to determine Burners only? floele Report Share Posted January 18, 2018 Do you need to find out programmatically? Otherwise it's usually quite easy to check which devices are read-only.
Harald Reichert Author Report Share Posted January 18, 2018 Yes, programmatically. Actually i am filtering "virtual" and "-ROM" out, but an Option "--list-burners" or something of this kind would be easer to handle. Really unclear, why "--list-drives" in a burner-program gives me Readonly-Drives.
floele Report Share Posted January 28, 2018 OK I will add a "-writeonly" flag for the next version so you can filter these devices.
