wma files downloaded from Walmart music

Recommended Posts

As my name suggests I am new 2 CDburnerXP coming from WMP.

Have some windows media files in mp3 and 2 files I downloaded yesterday from Walmart Music after I had a lot of trouble opening *.rax files from Real Audio.

trying to add all these files to burn list.

Why am I having trouble dragging these two .wma files from list of files to burn list? all go by just dragging not these two *.wma.

and yes I did download and install wmfdist.exe before downloading and opening CDburnerXP.

I see where I can also highlight my choice of .mp3 file and hit green add button to move file to burn.

thing is still won't work with these two *.wma files.

this board appears to have more readers than replies.

so If by chance someone who has a reply, and after doing some reading in other places wants to offer their reply.

Can I say CDBurnerXP free will not copy wma protected files to a CD-R?

What I would have to do is use my Windows Media player 11 to copy wma protected to a CD-R and then rip it back as an MP3 and only then will I be able to use it with CDBurnerXP?
