:o Yes, the recorder may work fine on initial installation, and then disappear and be incompatible. Haven't figured out why this happen, but it certainly is not straight forward to fix.

Running Windows 98 - get a message No recorder selected, or recorder does not exist. Please explain, and hoe I overcome

Does Windows see it as a recorder or a cd drive?

Has any other burning software been able to detect it?

Guest troubled guy

Hello,

I use XP Pro and I am facing the same situation...installed the program and was able to burn 3 CD-Rom discs (though 1 was unsuccessful) while logged in as admin, but after I logged out and logged in again, I received the same message "No recorder selected, or recorder does not exist. "

I did install the NTaccess while logged on as admin.
