Guest Guest Report Share Posted August 11, 2005 Hello. Does version 3.5 have a 'CD to ISO' option? (I tried selecting all files in a CD and saving to ISO, but that doesn't create an exact copy of it, and I only have one CD drive...)
Kermit Report Share Posted August 26, 2005 Will the new version be able to handel long file names? e.g. by trimming them?
Guest jan65 Report Share Posted August 26, 2005 uhm.. hate to bug you with this , but any idea as to when the new version is going to be released? what's the current schedule, well if no serious new problems surface in the current alpha...?

rjkraft01 Report Share Posted September 5, 2005 Hi, I just donated today, and would like to get donor downloads. Hopefully, after much running around bumping into various parts of this site, I'm in the right place. rj kraft
Guest Report Share Posted September 7, 2005 opensource would help development x10! congrats on the great program, among my favourites of freeware. (and Im one that tries to replace every commercial app with a viable free/opensource one).

Guest MRT Report Share Posted September 22, 2005 Unfortunately we *can* not go opensource. Read the FAQ. Which FAQ? This one? That's not very helpful.... I would also like to read the paragraph that explains why.

Guest Report Share Posted October 10, 2005 try here http://cdburnerxp.se/help/faq OK, that's far more helpful! Even though "commercial libraries" are quite vague... Which "commercial libraries" might this be? Those of the .NET framework?
Guest Report Share Posted October 11, 2005 When the new version will be released?
unruled Report Share Posted October 20, 2005 Im greedily awaiting version 3.5, especially now with the new and evermore bloated version of nero 7 on the horizon. I still have nero 6.6...but when CDBXP 3.5 is released, if its as good as I hope it will be, then I will leave nero for good I don't like where nero is going.
ernstblaauw Report Share Posted October 24, 2005 Hi developers, Is it possible for you to release a 'portable' version, so CDBurnerXP can be used on a USB-stick? I would appriciate that very much!

ernstblaauw Report Share Posted October 24, 2005 Have a look at this topic: viewtopic.php?t=2381 I can't look at that topic. Only users granted special access can look at that topic. Can you briefly explain the content of that topic?
floele Author Report Share Posted October 24, 2005 Oh, I forgot that. Well, in in this topic one of our donors asked for it and since we don't have such a thing he wanted to try making such a version himself. I didn't hear anything more about it though.
harle Report Share Posted October 26, 2005 Hi there. Hows the develepoment going and will overburning be supported in 3.5? (Maybe its already working in alpha version?) Best Regards.
floele Author Report Share Posted October 26, 2005 Yes, it is already working. I don't know how development is going at the moment, I will know that when the next version is released.
harle Report Share Posted October 26, 2005 Well, i'm trying the alpha version when i get some new dvd-r, i just trashed my last one trying to overburn in 3.0.
harle Report Share Posted October 27, 2005 This is a quick one: HOW do i overburn using 3.5 alpha? Just start recording doesnt do the thing (i try to burn 150 additional MB to dvd-r).
floele Author Report Share Posted October 27, 2005 Well, I only tried burning 800MB discs (which didn't work in CDBXP 3.0.116) and that worked fine. I don't know though if this is really overburning so it might be that your kind of overburning still does not work
