Adding files to a DVD

Recommended Posts

I am new to this software. I can get it to burn files to my DVD burner OK and they read OK.

I do not understand how to add files to a DVD disc which has files on it from a previous session..

I always get the original files reburnt again.

For example, if I started with 2 files on the disc (say #1 and #2) and I want to add one more file (say file #3), I end up with #1, #2, #1, #2, and then #3 (5 files in total).

I know I am not setting it up correctly. How do I set up correctly?

Thanks

JW

Did you choose to import the previous session? CDBXPP asks you automatically if a disc with previous session is imported. You also must not close the medium if you want to continue it. And of course, you should use the latest version (3.0.11x).

I chose to import the previous session (continue disc - multi session).

From your comments, I guess the correct action would have been to select "do not continue disc". Am I correct?

What does this mean --- "the previous data will not be inaccessible"?

Thanks

No, what you did was correct.

I guess it is a bug in case you read that within our program. My advise is to try the next version again.
