Multisession

Recommended Posts

Guest [Hyde]

Hello.... have this problem:

i first burn a data dvd-r disc and everything goes good. then when i try to add another file to that data disc, after telling the program that i want to read in the other data and create a multisession, it seems to burn well, but after... i'm not able to read the data dvd-r anymore.

What am i doing wrong?

I hope you didn't finalize the disc....

anyways, DVD burning in CDBXP 3.0 is kind of a very new feature. I've also read that multisession for DVD is not guarenteed....not all drives support DVD multisession

So either wait for CDBXP 3.5 and test then, or buy a new DVD drive

ok... tried... but got the same old problem. seems that dvd-r multisession still doesn't work on my LG GSA-4163B.

The test i did was to make a new data dvd, copy some data on it and write to dvd. then i went to the windows dvd folder (D:) and saw all the files i copied. good i said. then i started again cdbxp and it asked me if i wanted to continue multisession. i answered yes and saw that the program listed all the files and folders i first wrote on the dvd. GOOD (i said again). so i tried to add another file to the dvd. wrote it. then went to the dvd windows folder to see what happen. got an error.... the dvd can't be read by windows. so i opened again cdbxp and i got a message saying "only joliet or type I ....".

Same old problem.

:(
