Guest The Professional Report Share Posted March 29, 2005 I used CD BurnerXP Pro to make a bootable WinXP SP2 by slipstreaming WinXP SP1 CD with Win XP SP2 CD, I used Autostreamer by Antonis Kaladis to combine WinXP SP1 CD with Win XP SP2 to an iso image that saved on my operating system disk, I then used CDBurnerXP Pro to make a bootable Win XP SP2 from the iso image ( under boot options for this Compliation set sectors to 4 and check mark make bootable from the main menu, my addition to web instructions, also in emulation set to disk) 5 Stars for this program ,this disk program is that is free here is the basis of all much higher priced Burning software thats not included with CD Burners and 5 stars for Autostreamer, this new compilation was done the first try Regards The Professional

Guest The Professional Report Share Posted March 30, 2005 Thanks to jason kelly also for the autopatcher, and all the folks at CD Burner Pro and everyone not mentioned, also You dont have to download the " Win XP Network Version" use your original CD Win XP or Win XP SP1 and slip strream this with Win XP SP2 CD, take a break and treat yourself, you deserve it !!! There are other settings for CD Burner Pro 3 that will work, the ones I listed work , have been tested, and I'm currently using this compilation with no problems, I use the inexpensive Norton Ghost 2003( from Norton System Works Pro Edition) to image My drive systems as a "backup" , in case my system needs to be restored this gets the job done very neatly and fast. I also use Norton Internet Security 2003, very inexpensive as my firewall ect, good things dont have to be expensive, just work perfectly and be very low price,,,lol, when this firewall expires I dont renew, I get the next year for very little money and so on, OEM disks much cheaper, you deserve it !! Sieze it and use it You may want to throw these folks on these web sites CD Burner Pro and autopatcher a Euro or so, go ahead, dont spoil them though, they may get lazy,,,,,,,lol Regards; The Professional

C:\Program Files\CDBurnerXP Pro 3\Tools\DosBootimage.IMA ( okay) f.) Platform "80X86 PC" g.) Click "ok" This step 2), "Disk->Boot Options", is completely unnecessary. These values are already accounted for in the ISO image that you assembled elsewhere. They are only needed if you are assembling an ISO image directly from a set of files using CD BurnerXP Pro itself; not when you already have the ISO image. In my own experience, using an ISO image built elsewhere is the only way CD BurnerXP Pro will burn a valid XP Boot CD with SP2 slipstreamed. It is unable to build a valid ISO image itself, see viewtopic.php?t=3071

judithara Report Share Posted October 30, 2009 What software is the best replacement for Norton Crashguard that works in XP and Vista? I want to have a software that intercepts crashes that occurs in my PC. I discovered Norton Crashguard can do that but it is not designed for Windows XP and Vista. What other software can do that?
