I can give you right, my new S223Q @ SATA configuration is not shown in CDBurnerXP. So sad...

Must depend on your OS. I was using Winxp and my SH-s223Q was working fine even in AHCI. With Windows 7 it says I have no drive.

I use the Samsung SH-S223B with Vista64 Ultimate. The drive is recognized bij Windows as TSSTcorp CDDVDW SH-223B ATA Device. CDBurnerXP 4.2.4.1430 doesn't recognize it. AHCI is on and because of my system settings I can't change to another Bios mode. It's a pity I have to switch to another burning solution. I like CDBurnerXP very much. Will this drive be supported soon?
