With Audio File Converter Failed

Recommended Posts

Guest NewUser

New user, just getting started with program. I've successfully burned data disks,

However I cannot seem to create a Music CD. My collection is .Wma format and

whenever I start the burn I get a message that ends with

"With Audio File Converter Failed"

Are there limitations with recording .Wma files ?

I am getting the same error - I didn't get this about a year ago when I last used CDBurnerXP to copy a CD, also using WMA.

I switched to using Ogg and it burned the CD. Unfortunately the resulting audio quality is terrible with pops throughout the music. Yes, I did use a high Ogg setting, 128 bit but its not as good as the equivalent WMA format.

I have Windows Media Player 10 already loaded, so I tried it and it burns the files just fine so now I'll just use it for audio CD burning.

I like CDBurnerXP, its a great data DVD program but the audio needs work. I will use WMP10 going forward for audio.
