Unsure about this...

can I burn a w2k bootable CD using CDBurner XP running on w98se?

I'm following Bink.nu's tutorial, but don't have Nero full-version

I've looked at the "Bootable disc", "Burn ISO image" and "Burn Options" tutorials, but there is all this talk about needing the .Net framework (or installing CDBurnerXP without .Net)

I just installed CDBurner XP straight into w98se.

Do I need to have .Net (or without .Net CDBurnerXP install) to successfully burn my bootable CD?

How do I know that my burn has been successful before I commit to reformatting my drive?

Thanks .... Cheers.

if it installed, it will run.

after version 3.1 (3.5 or higher) YES, unless you follow a complicated (for the new) process...

How do I know that my burn has been successful before I commit to reformatting my drive?

try booting from the cd disc... if it boots, you're good to go.
