what is a

bootable ISO-image

I did find a real interessting boot floppy disk image with DOS 7. and long file names because it install a little Windows 3.11 in memory and you can immediately copy, delete, move under windows environment if you load from disk

it would be good to recompose this floppy disk with DOS 8.

the image has a name *.IMG.

the image offered at CDBurnerXP Pro is only a DOS 6 image with a name in *.IMA

what is to do to interchange both and to interchange DOS 7 through DOS 8 (for Windows ME)?

Description of the mini-windows boot disk:

Mini-Windows 3.11 Boot Disk

This is my Mini-Windows 3.11 Boot Disk which has a lot of features.

What's a .IMG file?

A .IMG file is a standard floppy disk image, which is supported by

many DOS/WIN programs, such as HD-COPY, Disk Copy Plus, WinImage,

VMWare, Virtual PC, and many more. By the way, .IMA(called by

WinImage), .FLP(called by VMWare) and .VFD(called by Virtual PC)

are just renamed versions of the .IMG format.

MWIN3.IMG is the floppy disk image for Mini-Windows 3.11 Boot Disk.

You can make this boot disk under DOS by typing MAKEBOOT directly.

Or else, you can download WinImage from:

Enjoy it!
