"Burning error occured - Media not compatible or of poor quality"

Recommended Posts

When trying to burn an audio cd, I get the following error message:

Burning error occurred

An error occured while burning and the disc is most likely unusable

Usually these errors happen if the media is not compatible to the drive or of poor quality.

I have a NEC DVD+RW ND-1100A ATA driver, which is up to date.  I'm using Sony CD-R discs.  I've tried burning with a 2 sec gap and without, it still happens.  I'm tired of wasting CD's, someone please help!  Thanks!

I tried again to burn a cd and this time it got to track 5, and came up with a different error, but the same message about the disc being of poor quality or being imcompatible.  This time the error also said

Internal SDK error Cstarburn_ScsiTransportSTPI::ExecuteCDB():Command failed

What's going on?  Help me!
