Curious about CDBurnerXP Pro features; please advise!

Recommended Posts

I'm looking for something to replace MusicMatch Jukebox, which I'm finding is focusing more on advertising than improving features or squashing nasty bugs.

I need something to burn audio CDs. This is what I would want:

• Burn from multiple formats at once (WAV, MP3)

• Volume leveling

• Change or remove the delay between tracks

• Select burn speeds up to my drive's maximum

• Easily arrange track sequence before burning

After reading the features list, I don't know if CDBurnerXP Pro has volume leveling, which is critical to making audio CDs. I also don't know if you can set the burn speed.

The ability to independently set the delay between any given tracks would be ideal, that two tracks can run together, while other tracks maintain a normal delay. You hear this all the time on commercially produced CDs. If that isn't available, I would at least need to be able to rip sequential tracks as a single WAV file to maintain the flow of the orignal recordings.

Thanks in advance to anyone who takes the time to educate me on CDBurnerXP Pro.

This feature is planned for the future.

You can.

You can either use no delay or a 2 sec. delay on all tracks. More advanced gap-settings are also planned for the future.

You can rip tracks, but you cannot rip them as single file.
