brandonyoung Report Share Posted December 15, 2005 Hello, First let me say thank you for creating this free CD burning program. I am experiencing a problem with version 3.0.116, it lets me burn data to CDs and DVDs, and I can burn ISO images, but when I try to open the program to create an audio CD, it tells me my drive is not compatible. Why does it detect correctly for data CDs, but not audio CDs? Eact Audio Copy was able to burn an audio CD, but I'd like to use one program for all my burning. I also downloaded an alpha 3.5.101.4 installer from FreeCodecs.com hoping that the updated version may fix some bugs, and it says I need .Net installed. I have .Net 2.0 installed, but your installer isn't liking it. I am running on a notebook with an AMD turion MT-34 processor, Windows XP x64, 1 GB of memory. My DVD drive is an HL-DT-ST DVD-RW GCA-4080N. --Brandon Young
floele Report Share Posted December 15, 2005 CDBurnerXP uses different libraries for audio- and data-burning. The current alpha version does not accept .NET 2.0, that's right. You can use the following key: http://cdburnerxp.se/help/dotnet.reg
Guest Camarade_Tux Report Share Posted February 1, 2006 Same problem. Thanks for the workaround. What else will this regkey change ? I'm not necessarilly happy with that, but I'm using quite a lot of .Net programs : 1.1 and 2.0. Thanks.
xrayspex Report Share Posted February 1, 2006 You can use the following key: http://cdburnerxp.se/help/dotnet.reg What is at this link? When I clicked on it, it loaded Media Player which promptly crashed. Not worried about that, but has it changed any of my Registry values?
floele Report Share Posted February 1, 2006 Probably not. You have to open it with the Windows Registry.
