Rewriting DVD+RW

Recommended Posts

Guest drigz

I'm probably missing something really basic here, but here is my problem:

I've burnt an ISO to a DVD+RW disc with my PX-712A (which is DVD +/- R/RW compatible), and this worked fine. However, I have tried both a quick erase and a full erase (and been able to see their effects on the bottom of the disc), but although when I insert the disc, windows calls it a 'Blank CD', both CDBurnerXP and ISO Recorder say that the disc is non-blank and non-writeable.

What have I done wrong?

Thanks for the info.

BUT, what you don't know is that if you format it with Alcohol in quick mode, windows will say your driver disappeared.

To my mind, it's a way to bypass StarForce protection.

//but I lack time and game to check
