Empty CD after burning and verifying

Recommended Posts

I'm using CDBurnerXP 3.0.116 on WinXP Home.

I want to slipstream WinXP Home (SP1a) and SP2.

On my first attempt to use the CD, I got the message, "Cannot load DOS! Any key to retry"

I examined the CD. It's empty

It spent 3 hours verifying after burning. What was it verifying? What did I do wrong?

.

I was having the exact same problem. See my post here:

The solution, I found, was to use this free tool.

It has it's own built in burning mechanism so you don't need to use any third party burning software.

I hope they fix this bug in cdburnerxp pro in the next release.

Good luck.
