How to make a bootable CD in CDXP pro?

Recommended Posts

hi all,

I've been wanting to make bootable CD's & haven't figured it out howto do the same with CDXP Pro. I'm using CD BurnerXP 3.5.101.6 & have been having issues. To give the e.g. I'll use the simple Windows XP bootable CD. Now this CD has the following files:-

Contents of Winxp_CD

DOCS

I386

SUPPORT

VALUEADD

AUTORUN.INF

README.HTM

SETUP.EXE

SlNo.TXT

WIN51

WIN51IP

WinXPServicePack1a.exe

Now just burning the CD by itself without any boot options doesn't get me anywhere. AFAIK Autorun.inf is the one which helps to boot, so should I just set it up in the boot image or what? Don't really understand

On the other hand it's able to burn ISO files beautifully with boot enabled. I downloaded the Debian From Scratch ISO & it burnt the ISO files beautifully.

Now pray tell me what I'm doing wrong?

BTW the CD is able to autorun in Windows xp
