Problem burning audio CD - not recognised on audioCD players

Recommended Posts

've used Audacity to record my audio. Saved the files as WAV files. I used CD BurnerXP Pro to burn an audio CD. This has created three .cda files on the disk (I used a 4x to 10x CDRW). It plays fine on the PC, which recognises it as an audio CD, but won't play on either of my audio CD players. Any suggestions?

Many (older) CD players will not read CD rewritables, so make sure you do not use these. On the other hand, CD-R usually shouldn't be a problem even on older players. Indeed, if you have issues anyway, try a different brand.
