onfiguration data corrupt

Recommended Posts

windows xp pro s+ p2

dell dimension 8110 + celeron d

I recently cleaned out alot of temp files. when attempting to launch cdbxp pro, it stated that an .msi file locatetd in the temp directory of my user acct. was miissing. oops...

I tried uninstalling using the add/remove programs feature, and the same .msi requested. So I removed all cdbxp pro related keys in the registry and deleted the program files as well. A fresh install gives the following erro:

"The configuration data for this product is corrupt, contact your support personnel"

Thank you in advance.
