write cd from iso file: will it produce message if it's full

Recommended Posts

Guys

I downloaded 713,310kb iso file for disk #1 of suse linux distribution.

I successfully burned cd from this file but than I become suspicious of next:

the file is greater than 700mb - cdrw limit.

What happens when the contents of iso file is greater than media capacity?

Does it record what it can up till cdrw is full

or it's going to produce error message?

Thank you, Gene.

You'll be fine. The size you quoted is in KiloBytes. Divide it by 1024 to get the size in MegaBytes and its 696.59M.

As long as you use a 700M CDR you'll have no probs..........

Cheers............

Wow. Seems like half of people use CDBurner just to make a Linux CD :D A good choice of Linux distribution!
