Unknown Error - 1051 - Please Help

Recommended Posts

Hello.

I'm running cdburnerxppro 2.2.8 final. I'm trying to write an ISO file to a cd-rw that's never been written to before, but when I click Write ISO it gives me the following error:

(Critical)

Writing Error: (3) Error occured writing data to disc.

Unknown error - use extended data for more info. (1051)

Error Sense Data: SENSE KEY: 5 ASC: 27 ASCQ: 0

Could this be a problem with the drive, or is it an actual bug? Someone please help.

No idea yet. If the last update fpr version 2 of CDBXPP does not help, wait for version 3. I think it will be fixed then.

Hello,

I have the same problem..... I'm running the new Version 3.0.113 atm, but with 3.0.109 (that's where I jumped in) I had the same Problem.. :x

My 'Error Sense Data' is different..:

Error Sense Data: SENSE KEY: 3 ASC: 90 ASCQ: 82 :?

I recall..

Is this a bug or some Problem with the Drive or even the PC konfiguration..

Do others out there have the same Problem.. :?:

My CD Drive is: RICHOH CD-R/RW MP7163A

I appreciate all the help and Info I get..

This this seems to be a great product and I'd love to switch, if I get it running..

Regards, Harry :wink2:

Double Layer discs are not yet supported.

Double layer discs (media) only, or double-layer drives? I had a

"writing error 3, unknown 1051, error sense data: sense key: 5, asc: 21, ascq: 2"

occur when burning a 4.7gb DVD+R @ about 30% complete (from an ISO that was about 2.5GB)

The media was not dual layer, but the drive is.

I searched the forum and found a url to a list of codes mentioned in this post:

http://cdburnerxp.se/forum/viewtopic.php?t=994

Which referred to:

viewtopic.php?p=6586

But it didn't have my exact error code, but I did find it on this list:

http://www.smart-projects.net/isobuster ... /hs305.htm

I found it to mean:

5 / 21 / 02 INVALID ADDRESS FOR WRITE

But I have no idea what would cause that or how to remedy it.

Any and and all thoughts are appreciated.

Thank you for your time.

DL devices should be supported in opposite to the media.

Thank you, Flo, for replying, and for all your support you continually provide in the forums. Your efforts are truly appreciated.

Any thoughts on what might cause an "INVALID ADDRESS FOR WRITE" message?

A corrupt ISO perhaps?
