file access error

Guest guest fletch

I have just tried to burn a compilation cd and I keep getting " file access error " and it seems to be only on songs that I have just purchased and are listed as " Protected " they are all in wma format, I have the necessary licenses to play on Windows Media Player v.11, but is there a way around this ?

CDBurnerXP cannot create audio CDs from protected audio files. I'm no expert, but can't you use Windows Media Player to do that? If nothing else, there's always FairUse4WM to strip the DRM out of LEGALLY PURCHASED songs.

Thanks GammaRay, yes i have used WM to burn but I was trying to combine music from I tunes and WM on one cd. I will try what you suggested " FairUse4Wm " and see what happens.

Thanks again
