v4.0 ISOs to hard drive error

Recommended Posts

I made a few ISOs to my hard drive of different CDs that have no copy protection and copied fine with other software. When I tried to launch the setup.exe files from the burned ISOs I get errors that seem to indicate the exe file is corrupt such as "Error reading setup initialization" file. If I try copying this same file from the burned CD to my hard drive I receive the error "Error Copying File or Folder Cannot copy setup: The Parameter is incorrect.". Copying the file works fine from the original CD or a copy made with different software. I repeated this on a co-workers computer who had a different DVD-RW drive than me.

We are both on Windows XP Pro SP2. My drive is a HL-DT-ST RW/DVD GCC-4482B.
