well the simple no brainer is use dvd-flick create an iso image

& handle the conversion to mpeg2 and the special file layout

then use cdburnerxp to burn the iso image to disk

-another lump of s/w to install

-dvd flick burner is flakey (crc check errors) but the iso image create seems reliable

-slo00000000000000000000w (5 hrs on amd2400xp w/1gb ram)

hint for the cdburnerxp guys dvd-flick is open src why not use that conversion

src 's to integrate into cdburnerxp so we have 1 1stop mpeg, avi, etc to dvd-disk
