CDBXP burns out burner

Recommended Posts

I tried to burn a data DVD. CDBXP said it is burning at X16, but the actual speed was such that the process would take 2.5 hours(!). Eventually it burned out the drive. Now Nero can't work with it (but CDBXP can).

There is no way to pause the burning of a DVD, and there should be if it works so slowly.

When I try to make a multisession DVD, it always finalizes the DVD, without regard to the setting of FALSE in user.config.

In one previous burning attempt, CDBXP created directories (I assume all of them) but no actual files.

Can someone comment? Thanks.
