Cannot burn an audio CD

Recommended Posts

I'm using CDBXP 4.0.022.370 on a Dell running XP. Whenever I try to burn an audio CD, when it gets to the burning process I get a message box that says "Burn Process could not be started" with no explanation. I have burned CDs with an earlier version of CDBXP, but now it doesn't work any more. ????

I found the problem. Your tracks must be recorded with PCM at 44.1Khz in stereo in 16 bit format. Try to find that in the help or instructions. I used Audio Creator ($39.95 at Best Buy) and it steered me to the problem.

Greetings,

I have the same problem. I have found that I cannot burn a CD using Media Player 9, either. However, I can copy an audio CD just fine and I can burn data just fine.

Any suggestions?

I didn't try all kind of bitrates and frequency, but CDburnerxp doesn't support many audiofiles. PCM 44.1Khz may be the less 'critical'.
