CDBurnerXP Dual Layer problem

Recommended Posts

Past weekend I burned a DVD+R DL disc from DVD Video files (.vob, .bup, .ifo files) on my hard drive (6.38 GB).

CDBurner XP burned the disc successfully but when playing my burned DVD on my DVD Player I noticed the following:

the change from layer 0 to layer 1 was a little buggy:

instead of a 1-2 seconds pause, the DVD was playing and suddenly the video appeared distorted (images with big blocks of colours) and there were sound glitches. after 2 seconds of that the DVD playback went normal again.

So I realized that the DVDlayer change was not created properly. I'm not sure if it's really a bug of CDBurnderXP, like for example, the program not creating properly the DVD layer change? or if it's something else?
