Inter-track gap problems

Recommended Posts

I burned a couple of audio CDs yesterday, and decided to listen to one of them in the car. I had to fast forward track after each track, or I'd be waiting for anything between 1 minute and 3 minutes' silence.

The album had a specified playing time of 55:23, but the burned disc had 73:37. Another that I tried to burn this morning, with a specified playing time of 69:59 (to be burned to an 80 minute CD-R), fell down with the following message.

Size of the audio image exceeds the free space on the media in drive R: (by 499 seconds)

VBR = Variable Bitrate. Those files usually don't have a typical bitrate like 128,192 or 320kbit/s. More info can be found on Wikipedia etc. We hope being able to fix that problem soon.
