Can not recognize DVD disc

Recommended Posts

Guest Smokey

Can not read any DVD disc in my DVD drive - eather a used DVD with files allready burned

on it , neather a completly emty / new disc . Seams like ,it just not recognises any DVD discs in DVD drive . Reads CDs OK in my CD drive , but it gives fals information about the

USED / UN USED spaces - for example when CD content actually ~680 MB it says CD is

overburned and it has 800 MB on it .

Any suggestions ?

Note - my CD & DVD burners are updated to the latest driver Updates .

Please , help.

So, is your problem currently to read a DVD? You don't say much about burning.

Yes. Just to rear a DVD. When I install iven a blank DVD disk into the DVD drive ,it does

repart any info back from it . Or , when I install a DVD disc with a known goog file on it , CD BurnerXP Pro gives no information about it . DVD burning is not even an option in this case yet , in my opinion . I simply can not use it . Note : I have a CD & a DVD drive

installed on my computer & the selection between the drives is OK (set to DVD drive in

the cases above ).

Any help , please .?

Is it only CDBXPP which can not read any DVDs or is it every program (Windows) which can't read a DVD?

Sorry , it was my mistake . My DVD burner was not installed correctly on my computer.

I re-installed it using the "INSTALL NEW HARDWARE WIZZARD " & now CDBXPP works very nice . I love it & want to use it all the time . Nice & professional looking , easy to use .

I am sorry again !
