Set Layer Break on Video DVDs

Recommended Posts

If the layer break for dual-layer DVDs isn't set properly, it can pause or even crash DVD players. Not just cheap ones, I've had a DVD freeze up a Panasonic player.

Even more advanced programs don't always find a good place for a layer break, and some programs (like Power2Go) will actually place it wherever it wants - even if it's on a seamless break or between chapters.

CDBurnerXP seems to write to the outside of the disc, then turn back. That doesn't always work.

Does CDBurnerXP automatically detect a non-seamless point in the video, a spot between videos, or is there even some utility that lets us set the layer break?
