Device error:(336130

Recommended Posts

Help me, Obi Burn Kenobi. You're my only hope.

Problem with CDBurnerXPv4 on my XPDellVostro1500 laptop. Of course I've checked the FAQs, Forum, and googled the error, but I've not found the answer anywhere yet. Copying a music compilation from a master disc. I believe the master disc (of downloaded MP3s and ripped from my own CDs) was built in Nero on my desktop -and copied multiple times there just fine. Making copies though from CDBurnerXP on my laptop...

First disc/copy burned FINE. Three times though, it then failed to make additional copies (different brands of discs). Each of those subsequent ones whirred for a minute, quit, threw an error, and then became unusable. The errors were...

"Device error:(336130) Could not write to Disc (LBA: 26 Length: 26).

Invalid Address for Write. -0x052102"

It can't be the discs, right, because they've been different brands.

It can't be any driver or bitrate thing, right, because the first disc copied fine.

It's gotta be something else, right?
