Converting .img to .iso

Recommended Posts

First, I appologize if perhaps I've missed the answer or concept somewhere else in documentation. My question is, how would I convert a .img file created from a floppy disk to a .iso? Thanks for any assistance or insight.

You don't. And it wouldn't make much sense either. You could just copy and paste the files from the floppy and create a new CD layout from it instead.

He is talking about a CD that has the .img extension.

There is some software to convert it to iso; but so far I have not found any freeware to do this.

How about putting this ability into CdBurner ?

Usually, you'd use tools like UltraISO for dealing with those image files. I unfortunately cannot implement all those image manipulation features into CDBurnerXP.
