I want to just update files that have been changed

Recommended Posts

I’ve installed CDBurnerXP on my Vista laptop.

It works faultlessly but I cannot find a way of just updating files (within folders) that have been changed in an existing compilation. As an example:

1. I go to Data Disk > Add > and burned 2 folders each with 5 files in and Leave disk open and Save the compilation.

2. I change a file in one of the folders, a word document.

3. I now go to Data Disk > Open existing compilation > Select it. Highlight both folders > Add > Yes to all > Burn > Leave disk open > Save compilation.

4. Now the amount of space used has more than doubled. I expected the used size to be increased only by the file that had been changed.

Am I doing something wrong?

Thank you for replying.

Does it mean I have to look for files that have changed since the last backup and only copy those, or is there an automatic way to just copy files that have changed?

Thank you.
