Burning Speed is x2 for the burner that supports x4

Recommended Posts

Hi,

I've got Blueray burner LG BH10LS30 and I can burn disks at x8 speed using native Windows 7 tools. However CDBurnerXP shows me only x2 speed. I've checked troubleshooting and installed latest Intel drivers. What else should I do?

I'm running Windows 7 x64 SP1 on ASUS P8P67 Deluxe V3 M/b.

Hi,

is the issue solved? Couldnt find anything besides this thread.

At least for me, it seems to still exist in 4.3.8.2631.

Drive: LGBH10LS30, FW 1.01 (latest)

Media: CMCMAG-BA3-000

OS: Win7 64bit

Burn speed offered is "2x" while Media are 4x (CMCMAG-BA3-000).

(Same for data and ISO)

Regards

Bernd

Hi,

I have exactly the same issue, except that the disc speed is 6x and I only get 4x displayed.

Disc: Verbatim BD-R 25 GB 6x (MID: VERBATIMe)

Burner: Sony Optiarc BD-5300S (FW: 1.04)

CDBurnerXP Version: 4.3.8.2631

OS: Windows 7 64-bit

Any help would be appreciated.

Thx, bee

Hi there,

I have the same blueray problem only 2x speed is possible but I have 4x discs.

Beside of this little flaw, the program is great.

I don't see any solution in the FAQ. I have the same problem with a Pioneer BDR-206 which is a 16X burner. CDBurnerXP only lets me burn 6X bluray media at 4X, with no override box to check like is described in the Help files. How to I get it to let me burn at 6X??
