Guest Report Share Posted September 28, 2005 im confused, can i use a cd burner to burn dvd's with this program? No, sorry. You can never burn CD's for a CD burner. You will need to go out a buy a DVD burner. The price of DVD bruners have gone down considerbly, you can now get one for under $100.
floele Author Report Share Posted September 30, 2005 Added that to the FAQ.
Guest Report Share Posted October 22, 2005 No, sorry. You can never burn CD's for a CD burner. You will need to go out a buy a DVD burner. The price of DVD bruners have gone down considerbly, you can now get one for under $100. Try for less than $40. I purchased a Lite-On DVD burner for just over $60 in 12/2004. My dad purchased the same burner for ~$35 from the same place online last month. CR-RW drives are even cheaper and CD-ROM drives are a dime a dozen now, if you can even find them
Guest Report Share Posted November 20, 2005 Can you do mixed mode with CDBurnerXP Pro? For example, both data and audio on one disc? I used to have a program that could do it, but I couldn't find any info about this in CDBurnerXP.
Guest Report Share Posted December 15, 2005 I have been looking through the site for a while and cannot find any mention of "Minimum System Requirements". I suggest that such information be provided in close proximity to the Download page, so we may see what system is needed for CdBurnerXP to function effectively. Thank you. floele Author Report Share Posted December 15, 2005 It doesn't have any high system requirements. Apart from that we don't have such old PCs to check the minimum requirements.
Guest AutisticPsycho Report Share Posted December 26, 2005 It doesn't have any high system requirements. Apart from that we don't have such old PCs to check the minimum requirements. So this means I can run it on 9x verison of Windows (ie 98 or ME)
Guest Report Share Posted January 18, 2006 does this work? Damn I have a P233 32MB Ram with win2K I can check I guess... if it has .net it can't run in 9x.
ronaldblake Report Share Posted January 28, 2006 Hello Guest I had the same question and did some searching here, and with google, and found a review at http://www.snapfiles.com/get/cdburnerxp.html that lists the program as able to run in 98/ME/2000/XP. I am going to download this myself and give it a try on a Win2K machine. Flo, I hope it was ok to post a reply to this question and provide the link which gives you an excellent 5 star rating. If not, slap me on the wrist and I will not do it again. Thanks in advance Ron

Guest Report Share Posted March 14, 2006 Hi, CDBurnerXP recognizes my recorders only in the administrator account, even if I allowed the "everyone on this computer can burn" option during the install.
Guest conrad Report Share Posted March 24, 2006 Hi, CDBurnerXP recognizes my recorders only in the administrator account, even if I allowed the "everyone on this computer can burn" option during the install. You must select option file -> preferences -> Device Access and Install the NMSAccess Service.
