Recommended Posts

What happened? I can't complete the CD I was burning, for some reason the burner gets stuck burning the last track and won't (STOP BURN). Now I can't eject or open the drawer. HELP!!!

I see a similarproblem with DVD+R discs from ISO files using the "Burn ISO" selection. Burn progress shows 100%, yet the program keeps accerssing the drive every 30 sec or so and will not respond to 'cancel'. Sometimes it occurs after 1 sucessful burn, on the second disc. Sometimes it occurs after several discs.

I also see a second, similar failed behavior whete the program keeps accerssing the drive every 30 sec or so and will not respond to 'cancel' at the start of a new disc, where burn progress is not yet 0%.

There is no error message, the program does not respond to 'Cancel" and it keeps on accessing the drive every 30 sec., forever...

I have the same problem, I have to use Computer's power button to shutdown. CDBurnerXP hangs finalizing the disk and will not shutdown, neither will my computer using the start menu or task manager.

My DVD-R (Imation 16x) is stuck at 89% "Burning to media" at only speed offered which is 1x (1,385 KB/s).

I've waited 40 min and will have to bail out.

Been installing on several computers and tested burning an office ISO on two different resently installed and updated Windows XP Pro SP3 PCs. In both occasions the burning process reached 100% but does not finish!

Anyone know why?
