DVD+RW erase issue in XP SP3

Recommended Posts

I installed the current version about a month ago and was able to successfully erase dvd+RW's. Worked as advertised, which tells me my hardware, drivers, etc. are compatible. I'm running Windows XP, and during this past week, I installed SP3. Now, when I attempt to erase, it goes thru the motions & says it was successful, but afterwards, disc properties says it's "full" with 0 bytes and 0 bytes available. The discs are unuseable.

I uninstalled/re-installed dcburnerxp & nothing changed. I can think of no other significant change to my system except SP3. Any ideas?

I thought that this was a great product (while it was working) and would prefer to fix this problem rather than look for yet another solution. Any suggestions re: how to attack this issue would be appreciated.
