Let CDburnerXP remember last base directory and label

Recommended Posts

Assume I burn some data on a CD/DVD.

On the upper pane I select a directory and dragged the files to the lower pane. Fine so far.

After successful burning I closed CDburnerXP.

Later I start CDburnerXP for another burning process.

But unfortunately on the upper selection pane there is again the initial directory "My Computer".

Could CDburnerXP remember its last source directory and jump into it?

If this folder is deleted in the meantime then CDburnerXP should go (try) to the parent directory

of the last used source directory ...

Can this remembering be implemented in the next release?

Similarly CDburnerXP seems to remember some label set somewhere in the past but NOT the most recent one.

Assume I start a burning then in the last dialog there is a button "Set label". When I change this label from let say AAA to BBB and exit CDburnerXP then I expect that CDburnerXP remembers BBB. But after start again I found still AAA.

Can CDburnerXP modify its remembering for labels in the next version?

Peter

CDBurnerXP would actually do that. If it doesn't, the settings are not properly saved (usually a bug in .NET). Try to remove the CDBXP settings from the %appdata% folder.
